February! JUNE! FERBRUARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ::shakes fist grumbling, “februaryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy”::
Too many people have invested too much time and effort in getting the February transition off the ground successfully. Fact is, at some point the switch has to be flipped whether or not people are ready. If they’re not ready now, they’ll lose their signal when the switch is flipped and run down to walmart and pick up their converter…or TV just isn’t a big deal to them anyhow. I’m sure many of the broadcasters have support staff and a huge plan worked out for this transition and I’d venture a guess that this is all centered around the February date.
As for me and my family, we’ve had our converter for months. It’s probably got 2 hours on it by now. (Shoutout to Hulu!)
